Bilingual Saturday Art School is an extracurricular visual arts program for children in grades Kindergarten and First Grade.

All classes meet from 9:30–10:30AM for 4-weeks at Children's Connect Museum and are taught in a bilingual  setting.

Children in each session will explore a range of different art materials and may experience techniques such as drawing, painting, printmaking, collage and sculpture and will be exposed to a new Spanish vocabulary every week. We offer engaging age-appropriate projects that encourage children to both create and talk about art works.

At the end of the four weeks parents and friends will be inviting to the Artshow, when the students  presents their unique and fun art project.

What are the learning curves?

– Connect and educate students through art

- Provide global exposure through artists and their philosophies

- Develop a variety of kinesthetic, value-based and creative life-skills

- Enable students to delve into complex social issues by opening a communication channel that children can relate to.

- Strengthen attendance, concentration and class participation

- Improve self-confidence in an environment where children can be free

-Create a safe fun-loving environment for a child to be a child

-Receive holistic nurturing

- Learn a new language

All materials are included with the cost of registration. Pre-registration is urged as classes are small and fill quickly.
